Ralph Barbosa: Planet Bosa

He is a fun y comedian and has been doing a lot the past couple years.... This feels like it was a good hour that needed about another 4 months to clean up the silence and a few of the punch lines could have hit harder and that all comes from running the hour relentlessly even after you think it's ready. I'd say this was a money grab. Joe DeRosa just released one and wanted to a year ago and his friends kept saying no keep running it it's not ready... And it was epic.

Was just chilling, saw this and scrolled like half way through just to see what the vibe was, and legit just got so hooked that I had to re run it from the start and watch the whole thing.

Bro just killed it joke after joke. Ralph's got some acting chops too needa see ya in some movies ! That slow mo fight bit was hilarious.

Seeing this on Hulu was a happy surprise as I liked Barbosa's earlier routines. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this one.

The first few seconds sets the stage as Barbosa comes out when he awkwardly pauses between greeting the audience and starting his bit.

His flow was all over the place. It truly sounded like someone who was told they were funny a few times and ran with it.

I could tell he changed his material to be more "controversial" but it came off as ragebait and heavy handed. The jokes were tired and you've heard them all before: "I don't like girls who wear makeup because they look so different" "I don't like girls with trust issues because I ain't got time for that" It really felt like he lost his voice in this one.

Overall, boring and nothing special.
