Episode #1.20

Just watched episode 20 of Uzak Sehir, and overall, it was a pretty good watch. The pacing felt right, and the actors continue to deliver solid performances, keeping me invested in what's happening. The plot moved forward in a way that definitely has me curious about what's coming next for the characters and the overall story.

However, I have to throw this out there - and I mean this in the most emphatic, casual way possible - if the writers decide to go down the path of introducing a pregnancy storyline for Mine, it would be a massive disappointment for me as a viewer. Seriously, that's a narrative direction that would completely deflate my enthusiasm for the show. It feels like it could potentially derail some of the more interesting plot threads that are already developing, and honestly, it's just not a storyline I'd be interested in following.

While I'm still on board for now and enjoyed this latest episode, the introduction of a Mine pregnancy would genuinely make me reconsider how much time I dedicate to watching Uzak Sehir. It would be a real "ugh" moment and significantly lessen my enjoyment of the series. Hoping the writers have other, more compelling arcs planned for her character and the show in general! Please, no baby bumps for Mine!

This movie is truly one of the most beautiful stories I've seen. I can't find the right words to express how much I admire the character of Mr. Jahan. As Aliya's husband, he stands out as an incredibly well-mannered and thoughtful man. His calmness and dignity even during moments of anger show his strength and deep self-control. What makes him even more admirable is how respectfully he treats women, especially his wife. Unlike many male characters in other dramas, he never raises his voice or disrespects her, even when things get intense. His attitude sets a perfect example of what a true gentleman is. I really believe this role should be recognized more for its depth and the powerful message it carries.
