    Finally!

This whole retro relationship with Aiden was too forced. It's been 20 years since Carrie cheated on him and he still is carrying around that baggage. And him demanding that she wait FIVE years to be together because Wyatt is too much of a spoiled brat to handle the situation? Ridiculous! And he slept with his ex but Carrie can't be trusted? I'm sorry but NO!

I liked Miranda in this episode. She seemed more like the old Miranda. I liked her and Joy.

WTF has happened to Charlotte? She's become a cartoon. Very unfortunate.

I could not give one damn about Lisa and her husband. He gained ONE pound??

Seema however is a breath of fresh air! Love her and the gardener! More of them please!

Again, glad to see Carrie take charge of her life and stop being a doormat for Aiden.

    Even the writers are bored

Viewers might have noticed that this episode was just shy of twenty eight minutes long. Even the writers of this show are out of ideas. The main storyline, Carrie and Aiden, has played out many times before yet here we are again. What was supposed to be a dramatic confrontation was instead a bore. The side stories didn't add anything to the episode. The writers are relying on slapstick to represent Charlotte and Harry. Seema becomes "that woman" who applies deodorant in public. LTW's husband agonizing over gaining a pound was ridiculous. Miranda and her new girlfriend have worked out their issues. The scene with Anthony and his future mother-in-law was taken from many movies/tv shows where the potential in-law tries to buy out the suitor, an unoriginal idea. No doubt realizing that the episode was too short we get the longest fade-out pan in the world to end the show. One last quibble, as much as I understand the costumers are putting the girls in what they think are stylish clothes, Carrie's outfits are ridiculous. Why do they insist on putting petite SJP in outlandishly large clothes? I'll bet they make those skirts in her size. The opening lime green "milk maid" outfit was laughable in itself but paired with five inch heels...oh, brother!

    Ok...

0/10 for the first 23 minutes.... The last few minutes were solid. The weird inconsistency of the writing and direction is just that... weird. Carrie finally dealing with Aidan felt like we were actually getting somewhere.

Please please please can we stop with the rest of the trollop though....

Seema's plot: Discovered the consequences of not wearing deodorant on a NY summers day...

Charlotte's plot: Has a dizzy spell a falls over in front of a hobbling Harry...

LTW....: loses her airtime to her husband who has "gained one pound of weight" and deems it problematic....

Miranda: tells joy she's an alcoholic ...

Seriously.... We get this show is "not SATC", but we deserve so much better.
