    Sad but exceptionally well made.

    "Happy Birthday" is a film made to expose the international problem of child exploitation. In this case, Toha is an 8 year-old girl who is a house maid and doesn't get to go to school like most other kids. However, she likes being in this household and the little girl who lives there is her best friend. As the family prepares for a birthday party for their girl, Toha is excited because she assumes she'll be welcome as well...which make perfect sense to an 8 year-old. But the family does NOT consider her like a family member and Toha is destined for major disappiontment.

    This is a story that you might want to have some Kleenex handy, as it is incredibly sad. However, it's NOT over-the-top and it's handled very well. Additionally, I was shocked how well Doha Ramadan did as Toha. Overall, a film not to be missed.
