3 episodes so far and and no Kyle, no Stan, no Kenny and very little Cartman. The stories used to be around these loveable characters, now its all about Trump...We get it Trump is doing crazy things, but 3 episodes to just exaggerate what he is actually doing irl is actually boring and shows luck of imagination from the creators.
This is one of the most biting and clever political satires that I've seen before in South Park. We see all of the hilarious and deep writing characters, this is a hilarious and deep political satire.
The writing is top notch, a hilarious political satire with a funny ending. We all love political satires, but this is one of the most gripping and political yet.
A hilarious masterclass and beautiful animation. 10/10 masterpiece.

Its amazing how we have normalized the mobilization of troops within our own cities against the populace. I dont believe anyone is frightened by the images of troops being mobilized in our capitol, as if practicing for coup. You train your troops for the mission they will be tasked with, so whats the mission of troops being trained in the streets of the capitol? Whatever the reason, its a dangerous game playing with a double edge sword so close to the neck.
Im glad there are those who resist the self-censorship being imposed on the for-profit corporations by the government, in the interest of its allies and partnered corporations.
Im glad south park exists, there is only so much that can be said in 20ish minutes after all, but i feel they do move the needle, even if just a bit.

While the series is still hard-hitting, this season feels slightly misdirected. It seems to aim at targeting the powers that be, which is a fair target. But satirical humor works best when it confronts self-righteousness, hypocrisy, or corruption, by exposing double standards, double downs, or attempts to silence criticism. That's where satire finds its purpose: holding a mirror to the absurdities of those who think they're above reproach. When it doesn't resonate with reality, it just becomes poop-slinging, which is boring, and what's left veers into the bizarre. Humorless partisans, however, often applaud these efforts - praising the target, the message, or the outrage, without caring much about the quality. As evidenced by many other reviews, it's just dishonest.
So far, this has been one of the weakest seasons, which ironically underscores just how great a show South Park is, because I'd still recommend watching it. It's funny 🙂

I definitely think this is the weakest of the season so far but it sure had its funny moments. I don't hate the commentary it had whatsoever but it wasn't really as groundbreaking as the last time, of course it doesn't have to be but still something to keep in mind. I've absolutely loved the season so far and although I'd consider this a grade or 2 below the last 2 I don't want anyone to think that I think this show is running out of steam. I think there are a lot of positives but my biggest criticisms come from the micro dosing joke being used way too frequently and the ending being a little out of the blue for some reason. Overall, definitely a good watch nonetheless but it didn't feel right to give it more than an 8 just because I know that they can do better and I hope next time they have more to say! Love live South Park and I hope Satan gets a happy ending by the end of this!

- GoofsIt makes no sense for the statues in Washington, D. C. to have tiny, mushroom-shaped penises after they have been altered into likenesses of President Trump in order to misrepresent history. He would of course have given them large, throbbing erections if anything.

Randy Marsh: Towelie, listen to me! I've got it. I've totally got it.
ChatGPT: It's really great that you've got it, and it's amazing that you're being positive.
Randy Marsh: Is that ChatGPT?
Towelie: Yeah, I'm using it to find a new job.
Randy Marsh: No, no, no, everything's gonna be OK. I used ChatGPT last night, and she helped me figure out a way to make the farm totally profitable.
Towelie: Really?
Randy Marsh: Yes, and all we need is me, you, ChatGPT, and one Mexican.
