    Excellent Movie

Last evening, my mother took me to watch a film that I now believe is not just a cinematic experience-but a cultural milestone. The movie is a towering piece of art, history, and emotion. I walked into the theater expecting a period drama, but I walked out shaken, moved, and inspired.

This is not just a film-it's a statement. A reminder of forgotten heroes. A retelling of a painful chapter in history that has long deserved the limelight, especially from within the Punjabi film industry itself.

The actor playing Mewa Singh delivers a performance so gripping, it almost feels like a spiritual embodiment. He carries the pain, anger, love for his people, and moral dilemma in his eyes, his pauses, his stillness. It's not just acting-it's presence. And the supporting cast rises to match him, each playing their part with authenticity and purpose.

Exceptional Cinema!!! Milestone in the history

This is out of the world. This will definitely take Punjabi cinema to next level.

Every character in the movie did justice to his role. History could not be better depicted on the screen. Full justice by director/caste.

Movie takes you to 1914 , a chapter of history where Gadar movement / Indian independence movement was at peak.

You will be glue fixed to your seats and would not try to miss any dialogue of this movie.

The color grading, the sets , the detailing everything were the best in class.

Cinematography was excellent it give you feel as if you are watching Hollywood movie.

Movie spell bound you and take you to 1914 and make you feel as if you are witnessing the history with your own eyes.

Everyone should go with their family, special children. After #mastane movie, this is a movie that reaches the Punjabi cinema's next l level.

A complete masterpiece of cinema and a great experience...thanks for making this movie.

Hatts off Vehli Janta and team.

Another milestone movie by Sharan Art and Team

Mastaney was a movie which is a turning point for the Punjabi industry.

Now the same team is back and they are back stronger and more mature than before. Sharan baiji, Harnavbir baiji, Tarsem Jassar baiji came up with another superb project and you can just see the kind of effort the whole team put in.

I am from Vancouver British Columbia and this subject just hits home for me personally and my family. I was already aware of the story of Guru Nanak Jahaj (Komagatamaru) and the team did full justice to the subject at hand.

This is a must watch movie. Do not miss watching this on the silver screen.

Best movie showing Sikhs / Panjab

One of best milestone movies of Panjab and Sikhs history! The reality of Kamagata Maru and depiction of real events. The struggle for independence and realty of how it started.

Best direction and great actors, Tarsem Jassar and Gurpreet did amazing job and. Every scene had a long lasting impact and showed the hard work team did. All over best shot movie is few years. Limelight's Sikhs and Panjab in great fashion. Struggles shown are so aligned with reality and brings in history that many folks don't know. Wish more Movies could follow the trend on Sikhs and Panjab history. Highly recommended.

    A Powerful Tribute to History

Guru Nanak Jahaz is a must-watch! This powerful Punjabi historical epic brings the Komagata Maru story to life with stunning visuals, gripping performances by Tarsem Jassar and Gurpreet Ghuggi, and a heartfelt narrative. The direction by Sharan Art is impeccable, blending action and emotion seamlessly. It's inspiring, moving, and a true cinematic gem that resonates deeply. Highly recommend!". Tarsem Jassar delivers a powerhouse performance, infusing his role with intensity and heart, while Gurpreet Ghuggi adds depth with his nuanced portrayal and gravitas. The supporting cast is equally stellar, bringing the ensemble to life with authenticity. The screenplay weaves together themes of resilience, sacrifice, and unity, making the story not only a history lesson but also a deeply moving human drama that resonates long after the credits roll.
