Giving only 1 star it means you didn't get anything. Writing down... the worst movie ever, it means you watched only few movies. You're totally out. I'm not saying that the movie is great, but acceptable and it means 5-6 stars.
Not bad acting... I would like to act like that.
The script is simple, some laughs, nothing really bad as someone described.
I don't think I wasted my time, I enjoyed what I watched without expecting any Oscar movie.
Sometimes people have expectations, that's the problem... I never have any expectations and I enjoy almost everything.
Who cares whether or not Ibiza is pronounced as it should be.
If you pay attention to every tiny detail, you won't enjoy anything and your life will be miserable.
Smile more and the life will smile you back!

Richard Madden gives a nice small character. That's the one good thing in the movie. Writing is lazy. Plot is just not there. Characters are unfunny caricatures.
Had some definite laugh out loud moments.. obviously if you watched the previews you know it's not a deep, thought provoking movie.. it's a great comedy none the less for when you just want something light hearted and fun.
Netflix needs to get it green light approval process checked. I can't imagibe how someone reads this script and imagines this would need to be seen. By humans. With eyes. The narrative runs as if it were being told by a five year old recounting something that happened at school a week earlier. Completely without sense, sequence or purpose. And unlike a five year old, it doesn't even try, and it is devoid of any charm.
That Bowie's publisher allowed Life on Mars to be used in this celluloid shart is heartbreaking.

Ibiza is so poorly written it feels like a 15 year old was given the task. Kept waiting for some kind of plot to kick in but the whole movie just falls flat. Total waste of time.

I watched this movie for Gillian, who I like in Community and Love, and the movie is fun, looks nice, it has funny moments and it's light and bright. However, it really has no story. It's literally hour and half of adult ass people partying hard and nothing else. While it's great for lazy afternoon when you don't feel like engaging your brain into anything remotely challenging it really has no other purpose. It has no point, no story, no message, and really nothing happens in the movie, nothing at all. It's just... people partying like there is no tomorrow. I gave it a 6 for being light, uplifting and non serious, for many Balkan people in the movie (being Slavic myself) and of course, for Gillian. But other than that, if you want some story, this one is not for you.
Such a pointless movie, it's hard to top such a film which has no real story, no real romance, no real comedy and basically nothing. The only good thing is R. Madden and I hope this movie is not ruining his career. There is no plot and no jokes. It's a promotion movie for party in Ibiza and Barcelona with drugs. Totally disappointed.

This movie was so much fun. It was laugh out loud funny, the cast had great chemistry, the storyline was silly and uncomplicated.
I can't believe how negative the reviews are! Were people expecting an Oscar nominee? If you're looking for a fun hour and a half of hilarious drunken shenanigans and some sweet romantic moments, this movie will tick all of those boxes.

Clearly no one involved in making this movie has ever been to Ibiza. Maybe they all just did drugs together at an EDM festival in Miami and imagined they had been. Garbage. Utter garbage.

How do they get good actors to do bad movies? Netflix is a great series maker but the movies are the worst!

I thought the film was enjoyable, just from the trailer you know the whole story as very straightforward.
So I actually recommend it when you want to have a relaxing Friday night with a nice bottle of wine not much brain required entertainment.
With all their money, Netflix somehow always throws cash at the bottom of the barrel with their original movies.
It's just so, so lazy. I know the title is Ibiza, but does every scene have to be either 'sassy dialogue' or generic clubbing? The writing is awful and irritating, and there is so little going on visually that you might as well listen to an audio book. The whole lesson of this movie is to gamble with your career, take drugs and YOLO. No consequence. No depth. No comedic timing or even funny jokes. Not to mention, NO ROMANCE. The movie seems to think it's being more romantic than it is.
I'm not even sure they filmed this on Ibiza. Which would be super awkward given the title. They sure didn't capture the atmosphere or vibe of the island at all. The fact that most scenes are filmed indoors just makes it more suspicious.
I guess it just angers me that Netflix picks up the most uninspired, generic and badly made rubbish while ignoring projects that truly deserve support.

This film was pretty frustrating to watch. Most of the humor is honestly pretty cringey and had me rolling my eyes most of the movie.
Also pretty much all conflict is immediately and conveniently solved within minutes. I found a lot of the movie difficult to watch because the dialogue, particular one of the main characters Nikki, has some of the more abysmal lines.
The music wasn't too bad, but there's honestly not enough actual character development between the love interests to get me to actually care about the relationship. They literally don't know anything about each other.
Robb Stark, was the only reason I wanted to watch this movie and also the only reason I even enjoyed this movie, and he doesn't even really have that many scenes.
3/10, sorry.

I was not sure if something could be both shallow and empty at the same time, but this movie is exactly it.
It's not that bad though if you use it as background noise.
On the other hand, should you decide to actually watch it, Gillian Jacobs is perfectly watchable throughout.
There is nothing new here..just overused plot..
But if you love these type of movies it's an ok film...

This movie did not have a clue how Ibiza is..It was all filmed in Croatia..even the Sunset.. The director, producers or anyone to do with this movie obviously never been to Ibiza and zero, zero understanding of the vibe and charisma that Ibiza gives any filming.. Movie is not worth watching... Cheap story line..The actors in this movie are not all too bad, but they failed on not researching what Ibiza is really like.. Dont bother watching it..

I'm not quite sure why there are so many negative reviews, this isn't a life changing film and doesn't pretend to be. It is however a funny, easy-to-watch film. There is a lot of chemistry between Harper and Leo and the friends are funny. Would recommend for a funny, chilled out film with good music!

How did I know this movie was going to be pretty awful? The "go-to" scene in mostly every comedy, it includes a black light, a hotel room, and a whole lot of screaming.
The humor in this film falls short, extremely short. The plot of the entire movie is lost in the desperation to be relevant. Honestly Its a miracle that the 3 main characters who are supposed to portray grown women didn't end up in a torture hostel or kidnapped and sold into human trafficking based off their choices.

I have never watched a movie that swings so much between cute and repulsive. I really don't know what to do with it.
It earns stars from me in soundtrack, cinematography, and actor chemistry... and yes, I laughed too. ...but I just couldn't celebrate the self-serving debaucherous lifestyle and lack-of-point depicted here. Do people really live like that? I don't want to know. It was like watching people I really like in a train wreck of human frailty. I know I am being weighty with a movie intended to be light, but a little moral elevation here would have been more rewarding. To end on an up note: the 4 main actors were darn cute.
