Milo Cawthorne, Kimberley Crossman, and James Joshua Blake in Deathgasm (2015)

Trivia

Deathgasm

Edit
There are rumors that if you play a muted DEATHGASM and Iron Maiden's "Live After Death" simultaneously, it syncs up perfectly due to precise editing. The filmmakers have yet to comment.
The music video where Deathgasm is in the woods wearing face paint is a reference to the well-known (for being bad) music video: "Call of the Wintermoon" by Immortal.
Kimberly Crossman said she enjoyed the script and character so much she paid for her own flights from Los Angeles to New Zealand to work on the film. She also didn't mind performing her first nude scene, but said it helped that it was only her on set with a small crew. They then edited it into the shots of Milo Cawthorne to make it seem like she was topless in front of him. She admitted that if she had been required to expose her breasts with him there, she may have chickened out.
Shot entirely on location in West Auckland in twenty days.
In early 2016, Walmart refused to sell the movie with the title Deathgasm and renamed it to a more 'acceptable' title "Heavy Metal Apocalypse."
