Actually family friendly halloween cozy flick
I'm not sure what kind of grinch could hate this movie. Our culture is obsessed with "entertainment" that shows the worst in communities, marriages, friendships and holidays. This projects the appropriate way to deal with conflict and differences. How to repair and support each other. Hallmark movies are not meant to be 10 stars, but Maclain Nelson's additions are funny and enjoyable. This is a fabulous addition to the "Haul Out" series, and I'm so glad they didn't repeat the competition from #2 with the new "Halloween Town" <3 couple.
Can we talk about how many LEGENDS are in this movie??!! They are ALL IN and make the story sparkle. Ellen Travolta rapping?! C'mon! That's what you missed out on when you turned this "boring" movie off in the first 15 minutes.

So fun!
Love that they featured new actors from another classic Halloween movie (Halloween town!). I really enjoy the "haul out" movie series in general, and this one did not disappoint. It was very cute, and had some good laughs as well. I do hope that they continue this series, I'd love to see what happens next.
Haul Out.. Something!
Giving 3 stars only because of the seasonal topic,Kimberly & Daniel appearing.
Started off good with the wedding & once the new neighbors arrived, everything after felt lackluster.
Happy things didn't drag out from event planning, amongst seasonal chaos or a future HOTH Wedding movie.
I'm waiting for the unnecessary one,HOTH Christmas baby.
Also the description of the movie had it sounding like the new neighbors were Halloween obsessed, which was falsely exaggerated.
They should of used Kimberly & Daniel more, but instead we get a typical clichéd Hallmark movie.
Could of made it more mystical or magical with tricks & treats, however no.. It focuses on boring stuff, such as the parent relationship & Jared acting over-the-top.
Also about Emily, her book & past issues with a former childhood neighbor.. The reason for Halloween being not celebrated for years like Christmas, was actually absurb for the most part.
Sometimes main characters can step aside,in this case to let others shine such as Kimberly or Daniel.. Wonder if they make another Haul Out Christmas movie, will they be included too?
I enjoy the actors therefore not hating on them, but choices in how Hallmark does things.
When they did the sequel they sure gave plenty of screen time for the annoying Jolly J family, but again.. Christmas!
Costumes to decorations, the whole vibe in general felt cheap.. Does Hallmark only splurge,on Christmas?
Of all the sequels it had to be of this, wasn't a fan because of all the HOA nonsense.
Actors to acting, was typical & cinematography decent.. Sad there wasn't adequate music that fit this movie theme, but instead that was boring too.
Also was excited for this as Hallmark starts Christmas early with movies, forgetting about Halloween & no Fall festival themes don't count.
Not worth seeing again, think Hallmark needs new writers or something because nothing is ever different.

I enjoyed it BUT....
When I saw that Kimberly and Daniel were going to be in this movie I was SO excited for it. Hallmark you should've utilized the talents of these two and gave us something fresh while building the story line around them considering they are hugely known for their background in nostalgic Halloween movies. Please do more Kimberly and Daniel movies!
Howling for the Holiday
This third part of the Evergreen Lane franchise echoes the playfulness, warmth, and charm of the original. (I am not a fan of the Christmas sequel.)
The reference to the ancient Irish origins was a welcome surprise--though its widespread continuation, due to the Western Christian All Hallows (aka Saints) Eve thru to the festival of Dia de los Muertos (aka Day of the Dead or All Souls), was not added.
It also would have been fun to include the "new couple on the block" more since they provided such a wonderful energy during their opening scenes and could have been given their own happy subplot interacting with each favorite character in the trilogy. And what about that missing husband for our "Doctor of Arts & Crafts"?
If you're looking for fun ways to observe Halloween with friends or family, you'll find some fine ideas here. Watch this flick with the innocence of a child's heart and a smile on your face. It is reminiscent of a classic Hallmark romcom.
