As a fan of the original manga, I was super excited when I heard it was getting adapted into an anime.

'The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity' is one of my favourite pieces of fiction so I had high expectations for the adaptation.

Having watched the first episode I must say that it did in fact deliver. The animation and voice acting was on point and of course the plot is amazing as well.

This anime is off to a promising start and I hope the entirety of the show will be of such high quality.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this season and I truly hope it's as amazing as the first episode.

The animation and art style are straight-up stunning, top-notch from start to finish. Honestly, it's some of the best I've seen in the rom-com genre, and massive props go to CloverWorks studios for nailing it. The visuals are so gorgeous they'll leave you in awe.

The opening and ending songs are solid, though they might take a couple more watches to really click with me. Still, they fit the vibe nicely.

We meet the two main characters, Rintaro Tsumugi and Kaoruko Waguri, who are very likable and set up the story beautifully.

Overall, this pilot is a fantastic start-heartwarming, funny, and visually spectacular. If you're into rom-com anime, this one's a must-see!
