At least there is Kidd
Though it's gonna be worse year by year,I would continue to support CONAN till the last one.Cause it's my childhood. I still remember the thrilling and exciting this series had given to me when I was a kid.In China the Internet become popularize in recent ten years, and in my high school,I found Detective Conan in the Internet and it was still updating. From then I began to follow Conan all the way,and including the movies.in 2011,it was m15,A quarter silence,I feel really crazy about it.Afterwards,I saw all the movies. To be honest,m1 to m9 are my favorite ones, but things after m10 gonna boring.I don't know if it is because the change of mood,or the movie program is actually declining. I still watch it once, twice,in the cinema.I try to find out the old memories.
1/10 as a detective movie, 2/10 as an action movie, just horrible
There's neither mystery nor murder, there's hardly even any suspense or twists, except some half assed ridiculously cheap and forced, unnecessary action scenes , just happening for some reason one after another...
Putting aside the main plot that doesn't even make much sense, a motive that is laughable and the ridiculously small amount of detective work that is almost negligible in a DETECTIVE movie, you can see exactly what the director really wanted in this film, the action scenes of various critical conditions like explosion of airplanes, collapses of big buildings, etc where our main protagonists are in and are supposed to be in the danger, acting as the main suspense and view point of the movie,,, except that we're all 100% aware that these characters like Conan, Ran, Mori, etc will never even even int the slightest danger of death possible, so these actions scenes are even more pointless and brainless, and Im not even talking about the ridiculousness of how every action scene was resolved in a story that is supposed to be realistic.
so overall this new movie in this well-known DETECTIVE franchise has nothing "detective" to offer, except some forced and cheap action scenes that doesn't even make much sense and are there for the solely purpose of trying its hardest to imitate hollywood high budget action movies, I found this pile of mess hardly anything other than a total waste of time.
+one star for the animation quality

A Riveting Blend of Mystery, Action, and Artistic Brilliance
The narrative, which combines a paint and police universe, is interesting. But for fans, it's predictable and confusing, which is annoying. The film has a decent cast of DC characters, but the plot is not as well-developed as one might want. The film falls short of its potential for success.
The overall design is nice without being spectacular or crude. But as with every DC film, the facial expressions are overly dramatic. And I'm hoping that it will be resolved eventually.
The Sunflowers of Inferno is a must-watch for both longtime enthusiasts of the series and newcomers, showcasing the enduring appeal of Detective Conan on the big screen.

Flames of Greed-When Art Becomes a Battlefield
What if a legendary masterpiece could ignite not only admiration but also betrayal, deception, and destruction? The Movie transforms the pursuit of Van Gogh's iconic paintings into a high-stakes clash between illusion, ambition, and morality.
The story begins with the dramatic unveiling of a newly discovered Sunflowers, where a wealthy collector gathers prominent figures to protect and showcase the painting. Yet, the exhibition soon becomes the stage for Kaitou Kid's grand appearance-and a series of mysterious incidents that suggest deeper motives beyond mere theft. As Conan races to uncover the truth, the investigation reveals entangled ambitions: personal revenge, greed disguised as art appreciation, and the fine line between protecting beauty and exploiting it.
Analytically, the film succeeds in merging the cultural weight of fine art with the suspense of a crime thriller. The Sunflowers motif operates both as a symbol of hope and as a tool of manipulation, giving the narrative a thematic richness. The rivalry between Conan and Kaitou Kid adds energy, with Kid's illusions juxtaposed against Conan's logic. However, the mystery feels uneven, relying more on spectacle than deduction, and the emotional core-rooted in art's power to inspire or corrupt-sometimes loses focus amid explosive set pieces. The pacing is dynamic but occasionally prioritizes visual flair over narrative depth.
Rating: 6/10 - visually striking and thematically ambitious, Sunflowers of Inferno offers a stylish blend of art and intrigue, but its mystery lacks the layered complexity that could elevate it beyond spectacle.
