An epic, five year production journey. The film shot its first scenes in March 2014 with its final scenes shot at the end of 2018. Post production for the UK theatrical release ended in January 2019. Note on the 2015 film festival cut. In order to try and get some momentum behind the movie during its epic five year production journey, and to demonstrate that there was an audience for a British musical comedy like this one, a film festival cut of the movie was put together at the end of 2015 using the material available at the time and its original working title name, Meet Pursuit Delange: the movie. This much shorter, film festival cut played with great success at the Raindance Film Festival, London in October 2015 where it sold out two performances and a third had to be added because of public demand for tickets. Despite this response from the public who bought tickets at Raindance the movie still took another three years to complete, shoot its final scenes and release.
