In November 2016, 'Sheep & Wolves' was a recipient of the Outstanding Achievement Award in Animated Films category in Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, in India.
In the movie Skinny was singing a song called "Never Gonna Give You Up" from Rick Astley. But in the Russian or the original version he sing a other song call Sedaya Noch (Gray night) by Yuri Vasilievich. Also in the Russian version some of the music on the movie is fully Russia.
The movie was originally planned for a Russian theatrical release in late 2015, but was pushed back due to production problems.
