The Legend of Kate Kensington

This movie had a depressing/sad theme. War,love,afterlife etc etc. However, the true inspiration comes from the creator/director Brad Costello You see Brad was fighting a terminal illness just to achieve his life long dream to make movies. He was so ill many days, it took every bit of him to get out of bed many days. Was it one of his greatest pieces ? No Did he have A list actors? No, but each and everyone poured their hearts out every take, as did Brad.

It also provided an unforgettable family bond doing something they all love.

They created more then a movie! They created inspiration.for that know.

This time I'm writing this review only because I noticed that some reviewers gave it only 1 star and I think it's really unfair.

Everyone has the right to write everything they want, but... terribly written? Directed mess? Performances laughable? Seriously? Did we see the same movie? I don't think so, I enjoyed a great movie with a perfect pace, never boring, good acting and directing, so I'm totally satisfied.

Those kids are really wonderful in their performances, they really expressed the situation and they were absolutely amazing in their spontaneity.

Somehow, some adults weren't so able to express themselves like the children, but in the end all of the actors did a good job.

I'm not going to spoil this movie, because I want that everyone would have a chance to see it without knowing the plot.

Highly recommended.

Maybe I could give it a couple of stars less, but today I'm generous, because I can understand the big effort that everybody did to make this nice movie.

BTW, I'm not related to anybody of them, I'm just a honest person who likes movies and can understand that even the worst movie asked for many efforts to make it, sometimes it doesn't work as we would like, but I'm not going to condemn anybody. To me, even the worst movie (in my opinion) is always worth of at least 4 stars, never I'll give 1 star to it, but I would like to give 1 star to some reviewers.

When they decided to produce this movie maybe they should have thought about making it a little less boring and a little less depressing even the trailer made you feel depressed I mean I can understand she lost her fiance and she was depressed but there was nothing good about this movie at all nothing happy it all ended in tragedy she didn't get the professional help she needed the acting was like on a sixth grade level whoever was producing this should be ashamed of themselves and should never produce another movie I don't understand why anybody would give this movie 10 Stars or even a good review I guess they must have been in charge of production.

Is still writing bogus high reviews. The movie is not as exciting as the trailer. And the trailer is the biggest bore I've ever seen. This was an amateur-hour production even a fifth-grade drama class would laugh at. I will never get back the 108 minutes of my life back that I wasted watching this terribly written and directed mess. Even the performances were laughable - mostly in part do to the lack of proper cast direction. It's boring and watching paint dry is more exciting. If you don't have any fresh paint to watch dry, that's ok too, you can just read the clearly blatant high-rating reviews and you will find them more entertaining. It really speaks volumes in how little faith even the filmmakers have in their own production to resort to these type of tactics. Do yourself a favor and skip this nonsense that goes no where very slowly. Go buy some paint and watch it dry for a better time.

I was excited by the premise of this story which revolves around a young girl, Hayley Jennings, (Hayley Castillo) who suffers from unwanted psychic abilities.

This film is an old-fashioned ghost story, replacing gore with a genuine spooky atmosphere which is fueled by the solid performances of the three young main characters, Hayley, Carl & Lila. They all have great chemistry on screen together.

It's hard to say what it is that makes this movie a family masterpiece. It might be because of the superb mixture of drama, thriller and horror elements. Why all of these elements flow so well isn't only because of the wonderful directing and storyline, but also to the incredible acting by the lead character, Hayley Castillo. She is terrific in this role!

This is a wonderful film that can be shared with the entire family.
