Get a life, seriously. It's honestly pathetic how jobless these weirdos are - are they just insecure because of Reverend Insanity? This work will never get an adaptation, and it never will. Cope with that. This adaptation is masterful so far. The only downside is the pacing, but it's just a minor flaw, nothing more. I don't need to watch it to know that this episode will deserve that rating. "I hope more people will discover this masterpiece through the anime, and I truly hope this is just the beginning of a long journey. In any case, the world simply isn't ready for this work.
Praise the fool.

The pacing is much better and flows more naturally than the first two episodes. I'm giving all three 9/10 because I want them all to be better, but I like this episode more than the other ones.
The visuals are not as crazy as the previous episodes either but the fight scenes are stellar. It's also a bit more grounded and easier to follow.
For the flaws: Klein's reaction to some characters feels a little inconsistent or unnatural considering what happened in the previous episodes. Some of them can be improved by just a few lines of inner monologues. Hopefully the requirement to crunch scenes in certain episodes will cease to be a problem for the writing in the future.

It's sad that how many people hate this amazing anime for no reason. The episode has gotten so much 1,2 star review even before anime episode release. This anime needs support not hate . People like these are what making anime community so toxic. I hope admin see this review and fix those review. So people don't miss on this amazing story. Now, for people who are giving bad reviews for not understanding. I want to say that please wait till ep 13. If you still didn't understand then you have every right to rate it low. This is a mystery anime . It can't show you everything on first 2 episodes. Thank you .
I really liked the pacing of this episode. The fight scenes were choreographed brilliantly-they felt intense, raw, and immersive. I loved how the camera movements and animation elevated the action, making every hit and motion impactful. The soundtrack was perfect, adding layers of tension and emotion throughout the battles. The smooth transitions between scenes kept the momentum going without any jarring moments. Even the buildup to the fight had weight. Honestly, I can already tell that this adaptation is shaping up to be something truly special. It's going to be amazing, and if they keep this quality up, it might become one of the best adaptations we've seen in years.

Episode 3 was absolutely amazing, the animation quality is still the same, the atmosphere of the donghua is still as mysterious as in the first 2 episodes. Most importantly the pacing slowed down a lot from the first 2 episodes and I hope this doesn't change too much in the future.
This is pretty much a guarantee as the studio in charge of the adaption had a deal with Tencent where they had to include the clown right within the first three episodes hence why the first two episodes had really fast pacing. Meaning that all future episodes from now on will likely have better pacing.
So all in all if this keeps up then not only anime of the year, Lotm might very well become anime of the decade.
