I had a lot of expectations for this episode and somehow they managed to surpass those to deliver this piece of cinema. This episode deserves a 10, I don't know what more they could have done and even if we don't count the review bombing, I don't understand how it doesn't get a 10. Even though I already read the novel and I knew what was going to happen, I cried really hard and I can't begin to imagine what those who didn't know felt watching this episode.
Finally the last scene of this episode was just too much to handle for me, this scene is just a cinematic experience. After the episode, I had to process what just happened while the end credit rolled.
10/10 episode, I hope a lot more people are going to get more invested in the series thanks to it.

This episode has so many things woven beautifully together. I liked the cinematography and story writing pretty well. The characters had very good emotional depth in this episode and Klein's newfound powers bring excitement and anticipation for future events.
Overall the episode stays true to the source material while also well paced and emotionally touching through the clever use of the visuals.

This is geniunely such a heart breaking episode, lotm peaked at this ep since it started at ep 1 and will continue to do so, this deserves a better rating than all the previous eps or in par with ep 6 if not more, the musics and the cinematography were perfevtly done, the characters emotions were portrailled in such a good way.
This episode was just amazing. The music, the emotions, and the events in this episode. I can't give away too much without spoiling anything, so I'll do my best. But this episode truly made Lord of the Mysteries shine, and the true value of the quote, as said by Archbishop Chanis, "We are Guardians, but also a bunch of miserable wretches constantly fightning against threats and madness."

I've read it four times but every time my eyes tear up... oh my god it hurts"We are protectors but a bunch of miserable wretches constantly fighting towards danger and madness " It hurts to see Klein crying too... dear 😔Old Neil had a profound effect on him. He was his teacher and mentor, a very kind and friendly person. Everyone in the Nighthawks had done something good for them, and everyone loved him... 😔
