Assaf never knew his father but after his death he unexpectedly inherits his house. When Assaf attends his father's Shiva services, he encounters a hostile extended family, determined to keep him away and get their hands on his inheritance. Family tensions end up revealing long-buried secrets from the past. When Assaf encounters a homeless woman who lives in the backyard and who is mysteriously connected to his father, he decides to help her. The struggle for kinship and family will take a toll on everyone involved.
