Bonney and kuma backstory

The latest episode of One Piece 1138 brings a touching reunion between Kuma and Bonney showing the importance of family and sacrifice The episode focuses on their deep emotional bond and Bonneys growth as she understands what her father endured for her Some fans felt the pacing was slow with too many flashbacks and not enough new content but the heartfelt moments between the characters stood out Overall even with some repeated scenes the story delivers powerful emotions and leaves a lasting impact on viewers.

Horrible pacing

This episode was by far the slowest episode in this arc and nothing really happened just more flashbacks that we've already seen like 5 times. Toei really needs to fix the pacing. This episode felt like more of a excuse then an actual episode with actual progression because this episode only maybe covered like 3/4 of a chapter which is just atrocious.

Too Much Recap, Not Enough New Content

As a long-time fan of One Piece, it's frustrating to see how frequently the episodes rely on recaps. Nearly half the runtime is often reused from previous episodes, and it really kills the excitement. Every week I wait for a new episode expecting plot progression, but instead I get recycled scenes with barely 5-10 minutes of new content. This trend makes the pacing painfully slow and ruins the flow of the story. I love the show, but this format makes it hard to stay engaged. It feels like the anime is being dragged just to buy time. Fans deserve better.

Pacing

The episode was really good in the time it want a recap of the flashback we got for the past ten episodes almost zero new content its a shame because we expected after the six month break for the pacing to be better regardless of that break we still have fillers and pacing like this amazing show terrible pacing.

Meh

The episode was greatly animated, but we do not need to see kuma running for 5+ minutes, also, why are we still getting flashbacks? Kuma's backstory ended already, we get that it's emotional but come on bro, we don't need 10 mins of flashbacks AGAIN, lasf episode and the episode b4 were peak, but this one was so meh, next episode's gonna be peak tho(and a new opening!) so it aint that bad.

Yeh, i think 6-7/10 sums it up goodly.
