Ruby & Jodi: A Cult of Sin and Influence

This is an awful story and hopefully is an awaking to many about how maybe we should do our own critical thinking and not give so much of our faith to these individuals we don't really know and we allow so easily into our lives.

With that said, I found this show to be just a spin off of everything else on this story. Didn't feel this added any new substance. The guests they provided all seemed to be of the same persuasion. I find it interesting that they use other influencers to share opinions and insight into these ladies who were also influencers. I wasn't familiar with these guests and did some research into them and after reading stories and comments from their followers it seems they are just as infallible as the followers of Jodi and Ruby. I also found that Julie Hanks is actually now an ex-mormon. Maybe a disclaimer should have been given on that point.

Besides the facts that we have already been given about this story, this did nothing to add to them. Just the addition of other peoples opinions.

Ok, I have nothing positive to say about the Mormon Church or any church that sweeps abuse under the rug and ignores the victims . Ruby Franke and Jodi Hildebrande are both narcissistic monsters who should spend decades in prisons for their crimes.

Jodi is a closeted lesbian who preys on families to break them up so she can feel power and maintain intimacy with wives. Anyone with any kind of gaydar can see this. And Ruby was abusive before she met Jodi, so she is not innocent in this. This was not developed in the program, but I feel more will be revealed. I believe Jodi is a text book psychopath

And then we have the police department in Utah, run by misogynist and Mormon cult folks who did nothing wh Ed n the husbands reported abuse. Jodi was already enmeshed in the Mormon cult and then her family gave their power over to an anti-social Mormon adjunct cult leader . And that Pam woman needs big time follow up, because she is bad news.

I wished they had investigated Jodi more. As she is scary how she integrated the 12 steps of AA ( a wonderful program) into her deceit and insanity. Her niece is a delightful young woman. I feel bad for Trey who still buys the insanity if a church that supported a monster. And he is still a member.
