Slow start, but glad I stuck with it!
The first episode was kind of slow, but it's getting better and I'm glad I stuck with it! I hope it continues for quite a while. The characters definitely grow on you! Just getting ready to start episode six!
I agree with someone that said the guy who plays James is kind of stilted at the beginning, but he's getting better. I've seen him in other things where he uses a British accent, which is better suited for him allowing him to have the British stiff upper lip, ha ha.

Love this new serie!
After episode 3, I was hooked. Love it.
Crossroad Springs is a heartfelt, beautifully made series that pulls you in from the start. With strong acting, touching storylines, and themes of faith and hope woven naturally throughout, it leaves you inspired and deeply moved. A must-watch for anyone who loves meaningful, uplifting drama.

Really wanted to love it..But don't.
I really love Great American Family and was excited for this series to come out but it has been a disappointment. The main actor, the preacher Johnathan Stoddard.....wowzer. IDK if he's just had a ton of botox but his face barely moves. All I think when I watch the show is who in the world chose this guy to be a main character. Jesse Hutch now, love him. He's the main reason I tuned in to begin with and he's in barely two scenes an episode. This series is very slow moving and honestly quite a bit boring. I've made myself watch every week hoping it would take a turn for the better but it never did.
Really, Really Great Entertainment
S1E1. What a pleasant surprise. It's so nice to be entertained. This episode made my evening. I grew up on a farm. This show has a feel to it that I can relate to. Good script. A team of great acting professionals. GAF has hit a home run with this. This show has lived up to its billing. As a viewer, I'm a happy camper.
Slow Moving
Hey, it's hard to find clean content to watch anymore... so I appreciate the attempt. However this is so boring! The cast should be decent enough but the story line is weak with nothing to keep you interested. No relationships to invest in, no suspense. I'll watch it because I'm running out of options, but probably a one and done.
Did you know
- TriviaThe show inspired co-stars Jillian Cardarelli and Jonathan Stoddard along with Ryan Sorestad to write the song 'Crossroad Springs'. An acoustic version debuted online at the Crossroad Springs Live Event in August 2025 just before the series premiered. Immediately popular with fans, the single was released for sale and streaming early in September, after just two episodes had broadcast.
