Don't Date Brandon

Maybe it's just me and the long life I've led, which perhaps has been less sheltered than the women in this show?

I want to be careful in how I word things, because I do not "blame" the women in this documentary for this obviously sick man's behavior. But I was bothered by the sometimes gleeful and gossipy tone of the storytellers. I think this was probably saying more about the people putting this program together than the women this happened to.

I also don't understand why the ex-wife didn't seem so concerned about Brandon's behavior until she became friends with the next wife. There was no indication at all, but I guess it was part of the show's big reveal it? But it seemed disingenuous. She didn't mention any concern at the onset about her daughter's visiting this man...not until later in the show, and the child had a lot of damaging visits by then.

The women giving testimonials made it seem less serious, but more like tattling or something.

This stuff really happens in varying degrees to countless women every day. I hope it reached some people that it.can.help, but I wonder if the tone of it might instead make public opinion worse. It started seeming like a man sharing show...making it dangerous, not helpful. Too sensational.

It's terrifying how easily these predators slip through the cracks. It seems like something in the justice system should have been done before this escalated to the level it did. As scary as it is to watch, I'm glad I saw it because knowledge is power. I encourage mom's to watch this and talk to their daughters for signs to watch for and help empower them on how to be diligent in being vocal if they find themselves in these troubling situations.

Started watching this and as the story slowly unfolded, we just spotted so many red flags about what a creep Brandon was. It made us think about how women especially are socialized to ignore these red flags, to give way to much benefit of the doubt and how to smile and be polite to these creeps, much to their own detriment. This shows how tgat can be dangerous and how these crazy men take advantage of this. This is a great educational documentary.

This was a good documentary about a loser who stalked women and went out with multiple women at the same time and got away with so many crimes before the law started to take him serious. Also I agree with the other reviewer who says 10 years isn't a good enough sentence. This guy will get out in 2027 his 1st parole hearing and is probably gonna go after the woken again. This guys a creep who hopefully ends up getting killed in prison because that's the best case scenario for this type of scunbag. Also the guy who was in bed with Rachel what a beast he had what looked like a gun to his head and just reacted and ragdolled brandon who looks strong but it's all water from steroids and there's a reason Brandon picks on women and you seen it in that clip because he's isn't a tough guy. But the guy who controlled Brandon with juijustsu isa beast. He saved Rachel's life and gotta give him credit.
