Grace (2014)

Trivia

Grace

Edit
Exterior shots of The Egress were filmed at the Alkaff Mansion, a historical building in Singapore just short of 100 years old. In order to accommodate the story, two more floors were digitally created on top of the structure.
Unbelievably, many of the charms and talismans featured in Grace were handcrafted out of confectionary items.
Grace's production team specifically designed the sets of corridors and hotel rooms of The Egress to be built with no 90 degree angles. Not only does this detail create a sense of claustrophobia, it also gives viewers the impression that navigating the hotel is like travelling through a maze.
Actor Lim Yu Beng who plays "Dr. Wong" is a motorcycle enthusiast in real life - in fact, a photo of him actually racing can be seen in his character's office.
Throughout the series, snatches of the popular lullaby "Xiao Bai Chuan" ("Little White Boat") are hummed by various characters. The lyrics to the song acted as inspiration for the design of Baby Mimi's mobile, which can be seen over her crib.
