A fun and thrilling ad
The King of Ads Timothée Chalamet is back with another one, this time directed by his collaborator in "A Complete Unknown" director James Mangold
and presenting a fancy electric car from Lucid and its qualities.
Here, Timmy and his bride (Larsen Thompson) break into a facility in the desert that just finished one of the Lucid vehicles and they go for a ride in it, followed by the security in another car. Great stunt driving moments to leave us thrilled and in suspense, but what's being sold the most is the car, its electric lights, the technological dashboard that amazes Chalamet before they head to the desert (not Arrakis but the presentation of the vehicle makes things look like something from the future, a sci-fi vibe).
Greatly shot, edited and acted, allowing Chalamet to become an action star, but without using much of his humor as known in the other commercials he appeared. Still very fun to watch and admire. 9/10.
