Well actually it's more trying to shine a light on it.
Apparently there are people who like to have multiple partners at the same time. I know, shocking. But these people are perfectly open with their partners especially in their orgies and when cheating on their wives.
I don't want to get too moralistic but as a movie, this left me cold. The one thing a movie and sex shouldn't do.
The acting was cold, the relationships between the characters was cold, the writing substandard and the plot devoid of any charm or feeling.
There is a movie to be made about this subject, but unfortunately, this isn't it.

Humans always try to discover the meaning of life through power sex and feelings...it is never easy most of the time it ends up in failure I think it has to do with time....as we progress we try and sometimes manage to be at an equilibrium with all three of them....when we are young we cannot understand them and we constrantly fall into contradictions I was in love 1st time at 16 so much that I was not able to perform so I retrieved in sorrow but from then on I became very tough and never got any real feelings for any of my partners hurting a lot of peoiple on the way ........half a century later and hjaving gone through all aspects of life family children grandchildren succesfull job and a nice standard of life I still find myself wandering if I could have done better...I know that when young and full of energy you cannot stay idle but the truth is that if you do stop and try to discover you real self you can then proceed with a better chance in hapiness and that is what this film is about I really enjoyed it.
This is one of a handful of films that actually digs in to the many perspectives of poly life and explores it both from the insider view and that of the outsider. Jake Choi gives an excellent performance as kind of visitor into the world of poly as well as shall we say, "alternative" sexual practices. Stephanie Sellars also has many excellent moments, especially her very vulnerable monologue toward the end. And then legend Bill Irwin shows up in the middle! You don't really find many films like this and it's definitely worth a watch.
As somebody who moves through the same world of polyamory as Veronica, the protagonist, I can confirm that this film about nails what it's like. Sure, on the surface, polyamory sounds ideal, but it isn't for everybody, and the film deals frankly with that fact.
Very good acting from the whole cast, and some of Veronica's most effective scenes are when she isn't speaking..a sidelong glance, a glare etc. It's showing instead of telling in cinematic form and it works.
Well done!

Enjoyed every moment of this film, also, what timely content!
It's the kind of film you'd want to watch and create an active discussion amongst friends.
The visuals were great, the cinematography A+. Everyone needs to see this!

Not only is this movie beautifully shot and acted, it sheds light on much overlooked topics and challenges the viewer to reconsider all of the false expectations around dating, sexuality, and identity that were blindly passed onto us by our families and society in general. This film gives an honest and endearing portrayal of non-monogamy in a way that really made me think. Great work by Stephanie Sellars and team. A vulnerable, highly entertaining, sex positive gem of a movie.

Wow.. This is one of those movies, after which you need a few moments to absorb and reflect. It's a very powerful story. Polyamory is growing gradually, which I am happy about. Everyone should have a choice and feel good and comfortable about it. But we should also know and understand that there is more than one side of each coin. I do recommend to watch Lust Life as it is us and it is personal Freedom. Thanks to creators <3.
Eye opening and provocative! We have been hearing so much about open relationships and "polyamory" in the media for several years now, and we've discussed it, but this movie brought it to life in a very entertaining and thought provoking way, made it feel very real. After watching it together, and talking about the subject for days, we bought a new self-help book on the subject (PolySecure) and are exploring new possibilities with our marriage. Thank you Lust Life Love for inspiring us!

Such a unique take at such a timely subject matter. The film bring to question one of the most fundamental norms of our society - the straight monogamous relationship - in a clever and sophisticated way, that doesn't pretend to know the right answer.
