Kyle hadn't learned anything by the time part 2 began. When Julian woke up from the coma, she continued to lie to him in an attempt to make herself look good in order to gain the position of CEO.

While Julian was trying to regain his memory, Isabella kept secrets from him. She also continued to condemn him for his actions with his ex, whose name I cannot remember.

The conclusion of part 2 was like a job recommendation to the board for the CEO position rather than a confession of love. The change in Kyle was sudden, with no lead-up to her altered perspective. She was mad before the accident, and still lying after.
