Lilly Tomlin continues her voice role of Miss Frizzle, but now under the name Professor Frizzle, while her younger sister continues to teach the class.
In the original show, Ms. Frizzle's whole dress would change each episode to reflect it's current theme. In this one, only the new Frizzle's skirt and necklace would change and her blue shirt would stay the same.
This version of the theme song is sung by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Jyoti is the reboot's newcomer.
Prof. Frizzle's location during the "kid calls" at the end of each episode generally give a clue as to the next episode's topic.
