Fire and Water: Making the Avatar Films may operate like blu-ray bonus features but it still offers a very engaging look at the incredible amount of groundbreaking artistry that goes into an Avatar film. This 2 part documentary makes it clear that its main reason for existing other than adding to the hype for Fire and Ash is to celebrate the incredibly talented people who make these films possible by pushing cinema to new heights.

Seeing James Cameron and co figuring out how to do performance capture underwater is really interesting and definitely enhances everyone's performances as knowing they all brought an extremely expressive and emotional range to their characters when working in an environment that required so much imagination makes it more impressive. Also, the scene from Fire and Ash included in the credits leaves you with questions in the best way.
