Logan Fry, Rance Martin, Alex DeCourville, and Christopher Patterson in Pinheads (2014)

Trivia

Pinheads

Edit
Charlie is depicted as a talented guitarist. During the filming of the original pilot, Alex DeCourville could not play guitar at all. Between filming the pilot and the first season, Alex took up guitar lessons.
Not counting the pilot, the first season was filmed over the course 8 days - spread out over four months in the summer of 2015.
Because of the way filming was done, Liam Higgins filmed his scenes as Kenny in one weekend. Actors Jerry Pietrala, Terry Wylie, and Tony Time filmed their roles in one day. All actors appear in multiple episodes.
In the original pilot, Bernie was played by Brad Rhodes. Rhodes was unable to commit to do any filming - with or without traveling. With his blessing creator Alex DeCourville recast the part. Actor Logan Fry auditioned for the part, depicting Bernie as a Russian immigrant. Although this was against DeCourville's vision for the character, he was so impressed with Fry's out of box thinking, that he cast him in the part.
The theme song - "Work" by the Ghostheads - was not intended to be the theme song. It was a leftover song Alex DeCourville had from an unmade project. He used it as filler music, hoping to replace it with something else. However, reaction from the cast, crew and viewers was positive enough that he kept it as the theme.
