First episode had me uneasy knowing what the internet was saying for this episode... I was honestly surprised how much it delivered. It felt like there were only a few scenes where characters even had backgrounds drawn around them. And when they did, Garou moonwalked so it's pretty hard to defend...

I'm not asking for impact frames in dialogues, but at least make more movements so that it doesn't feel like a colored manga slideshow? Those trash isekais are getting better animation than opm and tbate. This is just crazy to think about. Did the higher ups take the fans for granted? I bet they thought "Let's give the studio minimum budget and time. Idiotic fans are screaming for a new season and they gonna watch it anyway no matter how bad it is. And we can get more profit without even doing much lol". Shame on them 😡

One of the worst opening for an IP this big. Could have included the Garou fight scenes in ep 1 but it was a slide show of png images, this episode should have been in the recap.

This episode was boring af, I restrained myself from reading the manga so that I could enjoy the anime, I mean both were similar, I just need to use my fingers to go to next page where in anime they automated it so I don't have to go to next page with voice over.

This is one of the most badly animated episode in opm history alongside episode 1, can't believe opm is failing this hard, why this kind of injustice to opm, other series are getting non stop action pack top tier animation but opm can't even get half of the animation quality as other series this fall, it's to much for asking atleast a decent animation in this series, bruh the hype I have for opm anime is now gone,and I think should just stick to the manga and webcomic.

Can't believe people defends this. Literally features 20 seconds scenes that are just ONE frame that they slide or zoom.

The episode did have more animation than the first one and 1 decent animation scene in a fight. But the level of frames and overall quality of animation is abhorrent, it's not anime, it lacks animation.

There's already tons of memes online of some scenes, like one slide in a hill that they just take the png of the character and drag it in the screen....it's truly painful to watch.

The anime also lacks flow and transitions, again, this is not anime, it's like literally watching the manga and having, generally, 2-3 frames more drawn, and scenes just sliding like powerpoint.

It does not reach a minimum quality for a low cost anime, pains me to say.
