Paula Peril (winningly portrayed by the giga-gorgeous Valerie Perez) is an incredibly bright, STUNNINGLY attractive, and formidably athletic (she can whup FIVE adversaries at a time!) young woman, who was taught by her wealthy parents that she could become whatever she wanted. Rather than relying upon her family's money, however, she is determined to succeed-- on her own. Landing a position at The Big City Daily Gazette, Paula promptly assumes the paper's MOST dangerous job, & soon becomes Big City's most glamorous & successful Investigative Reporter! Her journalism focuses on fighting crime, as well as examining the truth behind "supernatural" phenomena. But, because of her tenacity and skill in unraveling these mysteries, Paula's relentless snooping also exposes HER to deadly, "Cliffhanger-Style" peril-- helplessly trapped in the clutches of evil villains, who'd like nothing better than to do away with this bothersome beauty, in dozens of inventive ways!
