Wow!!! I'm just shocked... I saw this movie when I was about 8 years old, and I have just discovered it wasn't from the Disney Studios. You must understand that for a girl that age at that time, knowing the difference was not important. I remember seeing it like 20 times, I just adored it. The story of Katy was so appealing for me. I loved the end when she finally became a beautiful butterfly. I know it is no "Bug's Life" or "Finding Nemo", but for an 8 year old girl in Panama in 1984 it was wonderful animated entertainment.
Hello. Yesterday I watched the Sixth Sense again, and I would like to share with you the impressions that this movie caused on me since the first time I saw it. I really enjoyed the Sixth Sense and believe that it has a very good plot and script, but, it didn't surprise me; since the moment I heard that the ending would surprise me, I knew that one of them was dead... It was logical. In the 60's there was a movie with an ending like this, Carnival of Souls, so, I didn't see anything I haven't seen before.
Haley Joel Osment performance was superb. And I must say that Bruce Willis' too. It's a real pity that he has done so many bad movies before (Die Hard 1, 2, 3, etc)(Just keep out of this list Pulp Fiction, Last Man Standing and Twelve Monkeys) because The Academy seldom forgives... Probably he will receive an Oscar someday in 25 years... And Toni Collete, it is always nice to see her... Muriel's Wedding is one of my favorite movies... This movie was very good, but I can't say it is the best psichological thriller I have ever seen... That place still belongs to "What ever happened to Baby Jane?"...

Sorry, but I really hate this one. Not only I don´t like the characters, but the plot was sillier than a Ren & Stimpy episode. How could it be possible that we could stop an alien invasion from a group of extraterrestrials that came from a place that is millions of light years far from Earth in just four or three days? How could it be possible that I have an antivirus program here in Panama and they didn't? What did Jeff Goldblum want to tell me at the end of the movie when he finally accepts the cigar? That since the aliens could attack us in any moment we shouldn't worry about such things as lung cancer or contamination? I never thought I will say this, but please, even "V" is better than this movie. The only thing I like about Independence Day was that Will Smith's dog didn't die. Really! he was the only character in that movie that deserves to continue living. And I don't know for what, because with everything we are doing to our planet I don't think we'll survive until the day real aliens come to visit us (if they aren't here yet). An advice, rent Mars Attacks!, sit back, and enjoy laughing at the human race. Or if you want something more serious, watch The Day the Earth Stood Still or The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), and think!
