  • Moody neo-noir

Damian Chapa shines in front and behind the camera this time. I'm a big fan of his and would watch basically anything as long as he is in it but I was really moved by this story. The gorgeous camera work gives this films something really special.

Some of the other actors left me pretty cold and their performances didn't seem all that inspired but next to Damian, who really lights up the screen, it's probably hard.

  • Beautifully photographed western

I felt transported back in time with this heartfelt story about a frontier woman and her husband. I could almost feel the closeness of nature in the vibrant cinematography and the sensitive performances. Somebody should take notice and let us see more of Kelley Rutherford. The story line is a little bit thin in parts but the atmosphere of harsh frontier life is perfectly captured.
