  • Beating a dead horse

My congrats to the writer and director for pounding the reputation of one of the all time greatest horror movies into a boring bloody pulp. Myers has now killed about 80 people, give or take. They need help in the costume dept. too, for the last few sequels, Myers has looked like everyone but Myers. All its been since part 4 is another shallow one-dimensional Jason/Friday the 13th plot. They went gung ho overboard with the "Psycho" tie-ins, and just couldn't recreate the overall spooky feel of the original. Its much more spooky when the killer is not an unkillable monster/superman, and is actually capable of dying without having to get beheaded, cremated and sent to the moon. NO MORE!!!

  • Very Underrated, almost cult musical masterpiece

Paul Simon is, surprisingly, a very good actor, I've seen modern big-time actors who couldn't be as natural in front of a camera. I'll admit, the name Paul Simon did make me rent this movie, but I've never been so pleased with a rental in years. Songs like "Nobody" and "long long day" really put the finishing touches on the whole feel. This movie has an authentic quality in its plot that can only be fully appreciated, I think, by fellow artists/musicians who can identify with Jonah's life, which I think is what Simon was striving for. Great job Paul, I'm hooked on "One trick pony".

  • Well I loved it

It was a good movie, it had great production design and direction. You never know what's going to happen. I suggest this film to anyone who wants to see some good acting. It was undated and brave.

  • I must have missed something

What in the blazes is this film about? I can honestly say, without a doubt, that I've never been so confused in all my life. I waited for what seemed like an hour hoping to see the writer and director's car at the front of the traffic pile up, and hoping someone would smash that piano. I've always wanted to see a pig hit in the head with a sledgehammer and chickens plucked alive....is that supposed to mean anything?, if so, I missed it totally. Speaking of sledgehammers, they should use one on the original copy.

  • Very Funny

This is a classic in my eyes, Arkin couldn't have been better. I love the long takes and the sometimes senseless arguments between the characters. I also like the score, it fits the time nicely. This is the movie that made me an Alan Arkin fan.
