Overrated. Take the case of curious character of Max (played by Erich von Stroheim). Why would the first husband of the lead character become a butler of his ex-wife, when he himself (in the film) was supposedly a film director who is even shown expertly directing the cameras towards the end of the film, as his ex-wife descends the stairs? The best nuggets are the sequences with the real life directors Cecil B. De Mille, Buster Keaton (in a serious cameo) and, of course, von Stroheim in role of the "butler" Max. Then we have the lead character (played by Jayne Mansfield) who slashes her wrists and the next day the bandages and scars vanish!!

The Main Jury of 20th Edition of the International Film Festival of Thrissur, Kerala, India, gave a special mention to the debut director Nasim Forough for her deft handling of the Iranian laws on adoption as the country evolves and its effect on their only daughter who thought she was their biological daughter. I happened to chair the jury.
