Okay comedy and mystery movie with a good connection between Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams as a couple infatuated with gaming and competition. The comedy and suspense is just too inconsistent for me to recommend the movie although I'm sure it would be enjoyable for some. I have to admit that I expect a lot from these group comedies and have issues when every small faction doesn't cut it. That was my problem with this movie.....the comedy between the main couple was good with some humor from a friend from the nearby college was un-expected, but it doesn't make a whole movie experience. There is a type-cast bad brother that causes all the drama when he hosts a game night and decides on a "taken" mystery and he is the "tooken". Not all the things that happen are part of the "game" and it takes awhile for people to realize this. The comedy kind of happens because of this as each small group try to unravel it. Not bad, but not good enough for my approval.

Sweet, but not a very deep time travel romance. Christopher Reeve does an excellent job as a playright who bcomes infatuated by a picture of an old actress, after receiving a timepiece from an elderly lady at a party after one of his plays. He researches and talks to a pschologist who gives him an idea of how to possibly travel back in time, and it eventually works! Jane Seymour is the beautiful yet very mysterious actress who falls in love with the Reeve character. This is not a bad movie - but I feel like very little real details are provided between the main characters makingit hard to believe that their "love" for one another is baed on anything other than looks and possibly a little adventure on Seymour's side. We learn practically nothing about Seymour's character other than being an actress and Reeve really reveals very little about himself to her(that we are shown). The time travel parts also have some questions, but this is usual in these kind of movies(because we haven't done it ourselves that we know of). It has a good old time movie charm that wasn't seen much in the 80's, but that's about the most I can say about it. Romantic movie lovers will probably like this Halmark-style film, but not else allows me to recommend it.

Understated, low-key, but effective documentary with George Lucas working with the digital folks to incorporate pieces from Star Wars Episode II onto the computer. This is basically showing a hands-on approach to getting the work done that was needed on this film as far as the digital part, which was huge on this movie with most of the background being created rather than filmed. Rob Coleman is the main presenter of the work that the artists were doing. I liked the way the presentation was without flash showing it is just work, but done with a lot of passion. An extremely rare way of documenting, which I appreciated greatly and would like to see more movies doing this for their documentaries.
