To anime fans, Akira is what some may call "one of the greatest anime movies ever". Even though that's true, Akira does have it's flaws (as do most popular movies). First, the plot is confusing (it is based on a manga) so it might make sense the first time you see it. Also there's the amount of gore, Akira is often stereotyped for being filled with blood, that's partly true, sure there is lots of blood and gore, but not in a horror movie type of way. If you look past it's flaws, Akira is one of those movies that stands out. And with it's re-release coming soon, Akira looks to continue it's legacy for a long time
Friends may be very popular but it gets on my nerves, not because of it's content (the idea of 3 men and 3 women living together is not new, that idea has been around for a long time). I mean nothing exciting ever happens, and when something exciting does happen it always happens near the end of a season. But the one thing about this show, that always makes me tick...is the live audience. Whenever a celebrity appears or a marriage proposition happens the live audience just goes crazy and screams like crazy!. Sometimes I wish that this show had no need for canned laughter. It would be better that way.
I was suprised when I first heard about this movie, I usally look forward to movies based on TV series, and I was not dissapointed!. This movie is funny with a capital F!. It sees Beavis and Butt-Head trying to look for their TV, which has been stolen. But then they meet up with Muddy (voiced by Bruce Willis) who wants them to kill his wife Dallas (voiced by Demi Moore). From then this movie is funny all the way through. Though Mr Van Driesen and Principal McVicker are the only other characters from the Beavis And Butt-Head TV seires who are in the movie (their roles are only mere cameos) trust me, of you like Beavis And Butt-Head, you will like this movie
