  • 2gether... a surprise of a TV movie!

MTV's first made for television movie "2gether" is a pleasant suprise. Spoofing all the recent boy bands in real life, "2gether" takes a mix of "Wag the Dog" and "This Is Spinal Tap" to present the film. The plot is creative (by using the "boyband" approach) and the acting is pretty good by a bunch of nobodies (the best acting comes from Kevin P. Farley, who plays older brother Doug Linus). The directing is a minus for this film, using too many music video "styles" for this film. Nigel Dick needs to stay at what he's good at, directing music videos. Overall, if you want to see a film that's entertaining watch "2gether," it will give a good time to 82 minutes of your life.

  • It's Okay, Not Great, But Able To Watch.

In 1979 (1981 in the USA) "You Can't Do That On Television" came on to the air. It was the highest rated show on cable. In 1989, To rip-off "You Can't Do That On Television," and make another generation of viewers, Disney came up with "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" (a.k.a MMC).

MMC is a mix of "You Can't Do That On Television" and the first episodes of "The Mickey Mouse Club" (the original series). This show contains everything you can need: music, and comedy. The sketches aren't really funny, and the music looks lip-synched most of the time. MMC can be enjoyable if you set your mind to it. If you don't, in plain English words, the show sucks.

If you are a big fan of "You Can't Do That On Television," you we'll hate the show. Everybody else will just like MMC (such as Disney fans, and Mickey Mouse Club fans). This show is okay, but could of been better. My Grade: C+/B-

  • Is there a god? Please say yes!

To sum this show in two words: sucky show! Yes it is a sucky show. Peter Engel could have done better than this. I liked "California Dreams" , "Saved By The Bell" , "Saved By The Bell: The New Class" , "USA High (the best!)" , "City Guys" , and "Hang Time". This show stinks more than "One World," geez! If you like Peter Engel go and watch this show. If you don't CHANGE THE CHANNEL...QUICK! CHANGE THE CHANNEL!

  • An ok flick, came out when 'Twister' did.

To jump on the 'Twister' thing this movie is about a family who lives in a southern state that a major tornado is coming. Hmmmm, cheesy copy-off to me. Well it isn't! It is a nice "family" movie. If the young kids can't see 'Twister' let them see this movie. It has some nice Visual FX for a cheesy Family Channel movie. Personal Note: This movie was a heck-of a lot better than Fox's 1996 made-for-tv movie 'Tornado'.

  • A thrill ride, but easily predicted.

This is the best King movie to date. Though Part 3 was predictable. If you love dramas/horror/sci-fi/adventure/action films you'll love Storm Of The Century. That all there is to it.

  • The funniest movies of all time!

Most of my friends said this movie sucked...I told them it didn't though I never saw the movie in movie theaters. So when it came on to video I rented it. OMG I was laughing so hard! It was the best Farrley Brothers' movie of all time (well there has been only 3) and THE funniest movies of all time (that is my opinion). Though it is nasty at some times (hail gel and zipper scene) it is still worth a look! If you want to laugh so hard rent this movie tonight!

  • Great show, unless you hate "TEEN" sitcoms.

Yes, I like this show. Though it is just "Saved By The Bell: The Collage Years" - "California Dreams" + "Saved By The Bell"...good copy-off huh? Now if you've seen ALL of Peter Engel's shows you know one thing, all just rip-offs "Saved By The Bell". This time it is different. Instead of just using regular humor they use offbeat humor. Stuff you won't find on the "Saved By The Bell"-ish shows. A great show...backfired when William James Jones came.

  • What were they thinking???

I got two words for this movie...pure crud! So why did they make a third "Neverending Story" movie? The second one was bad enough! This one is just a total copy-off. This one is so bad...it tries to copy the actual "Neverending Story" mixed in with 90s attitude. BOMB! Trust me on this one......dont see it, unless you are very curious!

  • Best IMAX film out there!

This is the best IMAX film out there! I'm not joking. It is great cause it is the first drama IMAX film. The cast is just perfect and the plot will get you hooked. Now you can see it in your own home (it is now on video)! So if you can find it rent it tonight or if you have it playing at the local IMAX theater near you see it there.

  • Bad.......Really Bad

At first it looks like an underwater IMAX 3-D film, but then it turns into something awful! Though it is in 3-D, the picture quality (as in 3-D quality too) is kinda bad. The whole movie starts out good (C+ average) and then just flops by stuff an average person won't know by time they die! If you like all IMAX 3-D films go and see it. If you don't then don't waste your $7 on it.

  • 'Rocky Horror' eat you're heart out!

I thought this was better than "Rocky Horror"! This is one of the best movies I ever seen. The plot is dull, but it all gets picked up by its awesome soundtrack and cast. To see this you need to be open minded or you'll think this movie just downright sucks. Some true "Rocky Horror" fans might not like this, but if you wanna have one of the best 93 minutes of watching a movie rent/buy "Shock Treatment" today!

  • Could have been better...much better.

I went to see this at a sneak preview at my local movie theater. From the previews it looked like a really good movie......I was a bit wrong. This movie was OK, but not as good as it should have been. This movie was mostly a GUY flick, and since i'am a GUY I liked it in that way. Mostly this is a movie of showing nudity, adult content, and James Van Der Beek. I know MTV Films/Paramount Pictures could have done better.

  • A really bad mini-series.

I was so happy when this movie was coming on tv. I was just counting the days for it. I thought it would be better than "V".

Boy, I was dead wrong. This movie was so stretched out. This movie was more like a drama film instead of a sci-fi movie. The movie had only three or four action scenes. So all of this lead up to: the movie was so boring go out and rent much better sci-fi flicks like "Starship Troopers" and/or "V".

  • Great mini-series, could have been made into a theatrical movie.

This is one of my favorite mini-series/TV movie of all time. When I first saw this on TV I thought this was an actual theatrical movie. Boy, was I wrong! I looked in a movie book I had and it said it was a TV movie!

This movie had the potential to be in the theaters. It had a good storyline to it, great characters portrayed by a not-so big cast, and some very good visual effects (made by some of the people who did the effects for "Star Wars").

If you like sci-fi, adventure, action, war, and/or drama movies, "V" is a good movie for you.

  • Great Music, High Camp, One Great Film!

"The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is one of the greatest musicals of our time. Thought this movie bombed when it first came out, the movie became a hit with audience participation. It has been 23+ years since it came out and it is still a hit. If you haven't seen this movie.....you aint seen nothing yet! Let's keep on doing the timewarp!
