One of the films from the 1940s 1950s where the cast is a combination of brit and murrican actors. A gang of workers in a car shop plan a heist, but everything goes wrong. Can the robbers get away with the loot before the coppers close in? It's pretty good. The most interesting thing about this film is shirley eaton as the blonde love interest. She was jill in goldfinger, with sean connery. Some pretty rough edits. Some good acting, some bad acting. Directed by charles saunders. Story by brock williams. I've seen several of the films where he wrote the book, or the screenplay. They were all "pretty good"!

Four companies are in competition to buy a french winery. Sidney is representing a large american company. And of course, she meets the son of the winery owner, and they hit it off. The silly but fun flula is in here as one of the competitors, but clearly, he's really here to provide the humor. It all works. A very typical meety your sweety à paris. It's pretty good, but could have used some twists or surprises. Not a lot new here, but it's cute. Written and directed by mark johnson.

A great premise! When rudy gets out of iron mountain prison on parole, he looks up someone else's girlfriend (charlize theron, a couple years before monster!) he gets beat up by the girl's brother (gary sinise). And gets caught up in a dangerous scheme to rob a casino. Lots of suspense and action. But it's always a little bit tongue in cheek. You'll recognize dennis farina as the casino manager. He was also the copper chasing whoopie in burglar! And danny trejo, who always plays the bad guy. It's pretty good with some surprises. And some female nudity. A little un-even now and then. Even after they decide rudy is who he says he is, they still chain him to the hotel room. And his method for breaking into the hotel room was a little over the top. It's fun, but it's not the serious heist drama that they were probably hoping for. Directed by john frankenheimer. He had also done seconds and manchurian candidate (the 1962 one!). Story by ehren kruger. He was nominated for maverick.
