  • Didier, don't smell anybody's ass... except if the person asks to

Well, at least a good french comedy. The surnatural plot (a dog becomes a man) is, I think, quite unusual cause it 's played like a realistic event.Bacri takes it so seriously that you believe in it. Chabat is the best dog I ever seen in my life. It's quite funny all long and I've loved the soccer part. And there's no cultural problem at all dear USA or Canada: it worths ten times all the stupid movies on baseball(see Madonna, Costner, De Niro contributions) and Football(waterboy) . But the fact is the movie don't stay on the initial plot (surprise) but also deals with racism problems and tolerance.

  • great story, great actors and Emma!

Alain Beigel made a really sensitive movie with a really strong idea: What are you able to do for a dead friend? A few friends decide to respect their dying friend's last wish and steal the dead body of this friend (played by Beigel) in order to carry him on a beach where the body will be burnt. The actors are great (Bruno Solo is really good) and Emma Decaunes (will you marry me?) who plays the dead guy's sister is amazing. This long trip will make these friends realize how deep their friendship can be. Thanks to a dead body in a car.

  • stunning realistic and so scary

The Blair witch project is an extraordinary movie. I've seen it on internet (I know, it's a shame but I was so excited to see it). Filmed like a documentary (but maybe, it's one- check out the official website-), this flick 's got a really strange atmosphere. No special effects (because of a low, very low budget) but the actors are great to share their fear with you. You really feel that it's not a movie and that it has really happened (watch Funny Games if you like that). A really terrifying movie which will make you hate camping in forest.

  • all about Almodovar!

A really good movie from Pedro Almodovar in which he shows how he loves women (and all mothers). Even if the beginning is quite sad, it's never a tragic and sad movie. All actresses and actors (and others) are great. Don't even ask if it would have deserved the Palme d'Or.

  • horrible

This movie is an insult. It is so full of american teenager cliches: the handsome guy (bad then good), the bitch and the girl nobody knows. It's like Beverly hills 90210 but worse. If you are older than 12 years old, this is not a movie for you.

  • terrifying, disgusting!!

This movie is probably the only one which has made me feel bad when I've gone out of the theater. It's so realistic that you don't have fun at all when there's a murder (remember, when you have seen Scream or other movies like that, you have perversely "expected" the murders). In Funny games, there's no explanation, just cruelty and no way to survive. You know it and that's what it's so difficult to "enjoy" that movie. Michael Hanecke likes provocation (see his other movies) and shows you what is really suffering and death. And it's not a funny game.
George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez in Out of Sight (1998)

  • the most sexy couple in movie history!

I'm not really a fan of romance movies or "chick" flicks but I've been completely seduced by this movie. The couple Clooney/Lopez on screen is definitely extraordinary and make us realize that Lopez is great (as a girl and as an actress) and that Clooney is really a good actor (out of E.R). The director Steven Soderbergh (sex, lies and video) did a great job after a few uninteresting movies. You can't resist the colorful and sexy atmosphere in this movie and you'll be surprised and happy to find Keaton(Ray nicolet seen in Jacky Brown)in a small role. For my part, this movie could follow Jacky Brown but Out of sight is more entertaining than Tarantino's movie.

  • Santaclaus is a mother f..ker!!!

you can realize that this movie is great just looking at this title. How a christmas night can become the most hilarious movie in French History. Written and played by the friends of the "Splendid" before they split and make other less funny flicks, le pere Noel is a trash look at surrealistic characters who are going to live the most incredible christmas day of their life in the office of "SOS détresses amitié", a phone service in charge to help people feel better . The american remake "mixed nuts" is a shame, that's why, if you haven't see this masterpiece yet, try to get it by all means (legally).
