I surprising liked it. The reason why I say "surprisingly" is because I seen that lead actor before in a zombie series and truly hated his acting back then. He just seemed annoying with him constantly vibrating out his voice as if he was in love with his own voice. And is why I initially avoided watching this series. But only decided to watch out of boredom.
And this series in my opinion, is refreshingly very good. It digs deep into the theme of election rigging, dirty politics and assassinations. Which is right up my alley and I actually believe the lead actor did an amazing job in this. He really knew how to express experiencing the madness and emotions that he was going through and I really respected his performance.
There's never a boring moment in the entire series and it kept me constantly feeling his pain while at the same time, rooting for him to find his way out of this chaos he was experiencing. And I don't want to give away the ending but after watching it, I feel pleasantly grateful for watching such an engaging series.
Obviously others may not appreciate the theme so this is more a personal review. But I am giving 9 stars because even though I may not want to watch it again as I know what happens. It kept me on my feet from the beginning to the end and love this series and the lead actor for that.

Decided to review this after watching it on Netflix. It's not really something I would like to watch again and it is not the most exciting movie. It's fairly limited in the plot. It only really started to get interesting in the final few minutes where you finally see some action. But before that, there's barely any action and just a cop going through the motions. Whoever wrote the script, seems to not be doing a proper job as the movie seems to cut short and too quickly and doesn't really emotionally engage the audience. I didn't really feel attached to the dog because there's barely a relationship built between the cop and his dog. There is no bonding scene and frankly I was expecting a dog lover kind of movie but this is not a dog lover movie. And also the final violent scene didn't even make much sense and seems like the writer was lazy on how to conclude it. It didn't blow me away and instead makes me angry that I wasted my night watching this. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to others because it's just not a good movie in terms of writing. The acting was alright but not enough for me to review it with gratitude. I was hoping for more dog bonding, more action scenes and clever intriguing plots. But this movie definitely didn't deliver on any of that and why I give it a 3 as it was far below my expectations.
