Both the leading actor and actress have passed away, I was not eager to watch this movie but somehow I watched yesterday at dinner time. The ghost Ru hua was given a soft and tender image being a ghost, and still beautiful, elegant. Actually all the female characters from the past time are soft, maybe due to the social norms at that time, women are supposed to be this way, when they argue, they became silent, indirect. Rua Hua, different from many other prostitutes has a image of being a man in opera, showing very subtle that she resilient, she fights for what she wants, she knows what she wants.
