  • I can't help bit think if people who leave reviews have actually ever seen another movie before

I want to start by saying I have never seen a bad Sandra bullock movie before and I've never seen a good Melissa Mccarthy movie so there was, in my mind a 50/50 chance this could have been worth watching. Its not. Firstly all jokes are explained, in one scene a cool quote is used and then the cop gets stuck in traffic -hilarious I know - then another cop replies that was almost so cool. We know this. Jokes don't need to be explained unless your worried your movie isn't good and needs EVERY joke to hit. It was a bad joke and explaining it makes it worse. This is one of many examples but I don't want to spoil this for all the people who expect anything from this. The acting is forced by the main characters. I would say that every other person in this film including the extras with no lines had better performances than the two Co stars. I would genuinely like to see a top five movies of all time list from some people who rated this 6/10 and above. Predictable Hollywood movie with no substance whatsoever. 1* because I want to give bullock the benifit of the doubt this time.

  • Worst British movie or at least top 5

The description for this movie was shaun of the dead meets the inbetweeners.... its neither and cannot even come close to being compared to either of these movies. It was as if two twelve year olds got together at a sleepover and came up with the god awful film. The acting seems lazy, the script terrible and the story is just wierd. A pointless hour and a half wasted. I am a great advocate of British film making which is why I watched the whole film so I can give a fair review. My advice is.... don't waste your time and watch Shawn of the dead or the inbetweeners. Only got 2* because its not the worst British film I've seen but it is definitely the second worst.

  • What a great, timeless movie

I watched this back in the day, loved it, watched it 20years later still good, if not better... and I think it got funnier. Just one joke after another, well crafted script really catches you off guard. One laugh after another. Really great. A movie for all ages And behind it all a really important message that all ages can learn from. The acting is also superb and some absolutely superp talented comedians. This film has alot of depth and I think personally comedy movies have lost this now. This movie has aged like a fine wine and Is good to watch with a glass of wine. When people ask me what my favourite comedy kovies are of all time it's this in top 3 now. 9.9 out of 10.
