A big surprise for me was the documentary "JOURNAL ABOUT ZELIMIR ZILNIK". You know that feeling when you accidentally come across a movie that you didn't intend to watch, then accidentally end up watching it and in the end, you are completely impressed. A big thanks to the authors of this movie and to Zelimir Zilnik himself for providing us with this extraordinary pleasure. I didn't believe that I would ever feel the need to write a review of a documentary film, but really, I highly recommend watching it. Zelimir Zilnik is a hero alongside whom generations of my parents have grown up, and now I know why they admired him so much.
The TV series "Pad (The Fall)" was a pleasant surprise for me. I watched it all in one day and I liked the screenplay and directorial solution for the actor's internal state. Milan Maric was excellent and the cinematographer did an exceptional job. What I didn't like was the pretentiousness in the promotion. That's why I didn't watch it back then, but only now. The decision should have been made whether to emphasize that it is based on a true story or to focus on the fiction, which is what the series is. This way, many people were probably uncomfortable, including the actors, the families of the victims, and others who were connected to this terrible tragedy. Congratulations to everyone involved, Congratulations to all the actors and creators, especially the cinematographer and sound designer. Bravo!
Dug Moru is the most underrated series in this area. And I'll write again: A Debt to the Sea is the series that people and the media underestimated the most. In the mass of all kinds of garbage, this pearl of the series will remain among the rare ones for the next generations. I don't mean the rating here on IMBD, it's decent, but how much attention is paid to the nonsense that is served to us every day from the screens. And only few words about this series that started before the hyperproduction and despite that has maintained a high level. I give a standing ovation to the entire cast, all writers, directors, cinematographers, costume designers, scenographers, editors, music, the entire production and organization .... to all and for all ..... it's really worth watching!
