I wasn't sure I was going to like this episode when it started out as sometimes the hand drawn animation and stories told by the kids I'm not my favorite episodes but the evolution of the storyline only got better and better.
One reason so many of us love this family is that they are so relatable. For anyone who has grown up with siblings, this one really hit home. They nailed the highs and lows that go along with having brothers and sisters.
Writing was clever, funny, heartfelt, and all of the Belchers stayed true to character. This was yet another episode that left me holding back tears in the end. I'm not crying, you're crying!

The kids want to host an open mic night at the restaurant after their talent show was canceled. Bob is worried about the hidden costs which comically keep coming up. He decides he has to cancel the event due to the high overhead without telling the kids who have already invited half the school and the neighborhood. Bob has no choice but to host the event and hope it brings in business to help recover his costs. The end result is a great, eclectic mix of people from a variety of past episodes.
I love how this show stays true to the characters through and through. The final song sung by the Belcher kids was fantastic.
