I really enjoyed this fan-made mini-episode. It really captured the feel of the original Knight Rider. I'd love to see more!
Given how short the film is, I was pleasantly surprised that it had a complete plot.

I liked the visual style and the acting in this movie. The use of text overlay for telepathic broadcasts was pretty innovative. Sadly, this is one of those movies with a "no ending ending" where the movie just kinda stops instead of having a meaningful resolution.
I think this movie might have been better if it had been a book instead. The protagonist spends most of the movie thinking about things, which means that most of the movie is a narrated voice-over. Books do that thing really well. Movies, not so much.
The pacing is glacial. Most scenes end with the protagonist lurching out of a sensory deprivation tank.
I really wanted to like this movie. But the hero is pointlessly self-indulgent. He is also not very likeable.
I did, however, like the visuals and the music. I liked the idea of what this movie was supposed to be. I liked Jackman's "I want you to follow the sound of my voice."
