The basic idea behind the show isn't really out of the world about how you have to compete to death to gain something but the twisted fact that the show turns children's games to their ugliest and gorriest possible versions makes it a horrifying yet glued to Netflix kind of a watch. You're really missing out if you don't watch this one!

I get why everyone was creeped out but I found it rather an intriguing and interesting watch. I do think there was too much getting highlighted at once - from hidden mental health issues to absurd societal norms such as listening to your elders till death (for real in this case) but overall a well rounded effort to present this horrifying case to the entire world. Watch it because I guess the world hasn't seen something like this in a long time!

The lead couple is not what I enjoyed really, infact Abby is one of the most irritating lead characters with the insecurities of a 16 year old. Trace is meh 😏 his looks though 🤤 Instead I liked the supporting cast better especially Bree, Connor and Jess and their special ones. English isn't my first language so I don't know how Irish accent works so can't say anything about Grandma Nell. Mick and his story is boringggg. Also Megan back after like a decade or two with absurd expectations about her kids welcoming her with open arms and when they don't she has this weird watery look in her eye makes me a little mad.

But overall if you want a break from intense TV shows with some great scenery and greenery, this is the break you've been looking for!
