enockquason's rating
My rating for this movie kept fluctuating as I watched. There were moments I was thinking 'God, this is just lazy writing', because the characters were doing some stupid stuff just to move the plot along. The acting was okay except for the actress who plays Cady. They could've found a better one. I felt like they could've given more clarity to how Cole(the assistant of the tech company boss) got Megan to want to kill his boss. That was pretty vague.
So why am I giving this a ten despite all the negatives? Because this move felt refreshingly different. I know it has some of the same elements as Child's Play, and I know some people have said that they didn't really feel the horror in this one, but strangely enough, I did.. It's been such a long time since a horror movie gave me any creeps so I wasn't expecting much, but this movie surprised me. It had a perfect combination of creepy music and tensed silence that had me at the edge of my seat. For that, I think it deserves a ten.

What can I say? The action and CGI were pretty good, and it was fun, but it dragged in some places until I began not to care much anymore, only to be sucked right back in. They provided quite a believable story about Janet's time in the Quantum realm that I didn't have to suspend disbelief.
Kang was pretty badass, and I can understand how he can evolve into more than a Thanos level threat. I feared for Scott's life more than once, especially with Marvel's penchant for getting rid of earlier avengers nowadays. And Jonathan Majors is an excellent actor.
In all, this was a decent watch, nothing spectacular, but it still had enough to keep me glued until it came to an end. I did find it underwhelming, but considering that I went in more than hyped for it, the fact that I can still think of it as a 7 tells me Marvel did well with this one. I do hope the coming movies are much better though.
Give it a try. It's worth a watch or two.

Why are people disappointed? I mean the first and second movie were garbage but there was enough steaminess(which were their only redeeming quality). This one was even more steamy than the second so what's y'alls problems? And don't you dare kid yourself that you watched it for any other reason!
