  • Great movie--Peter Wingfield is magical!

I could have done without the youngest couple that appeared sporadically throughout this movie, but the rest of the show was wonderful! Tyne Dailey is always a treat. Margarent Colin and Peter Wingfield together--the sparks just flew!! Some day PW will be rewarded for all his hard work. Some day tptb will sit up and take notice of this rare, genuine talent!

  • Robert Chapin = talented swordsman

While the only two known names in this film are Joe Don Baker and Carol Alt, it certainly is not lacking in talent. Robert Chapin and Jim Perri and fabulous together. Their swordfight in the ring is athletic, funny, difficult, excellent! The end left the door wide open for a sequel. Well, Bob, we're waiting...

  • Hilarious

The writing is comedic genius, the cast is perfect. I rarely buy videos, but I bought this one because I got tired of renting it. It's funny everytime I watch it! Rob Reiner's direction reminds me of some of Mel Brook's work--that's a good thing.
Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeiffer in Ladyhawke (1985)

  • Something for everyone!

For the men, there's Michelle Pfieffer--drop dead gorgeous. For the women, there's Rutger Hauer--strong, handsome hunk. Comedic relief--Matthew Broderick--hilarious lines delivered with perfect timing and great expressions. Bad guys--the bishop and Cezar! There's magic, swords, horses, castles, prison, beautiful landscapes... Wonderful movie--why don't they make these anymore???
