First of all, most movies on this list are not really bad. But they are not good either. In order not to bore you with every average movie I have seen I will restrain myself only to those of interest. That means you will find movies here that were successful at the box office but did not deserve that undue success or movies that did not stand the test of time. Other entries concern movies that are acclaimed by critics but to me are nothing short of being pretentious. Other titles could include films that were much talked about for whatever reason upon their initial release and therefore hold some kind of reputation that, however, do not qualify them for quality movies. You may also find movies here to which famous actors or directors contributed to but which are a let-down in the end nevertheless. 

So, have fun browsing through my selection of the odds and sods of the movie world and let me know what you think.

This list is dedicated to those pictures that are not much talked about or sometimes even sneered at. Most of these movies were made on a small budget but can be very entertaining nevertheless. That is, if you generally dig B-pictures of the sci-fi or horror genre, for example. Some of the entries might be considered trash, but I assure you that you will find only the hilarious ones here. So, if you are in the mood for a somewhat different movie that does not necessarily follow mainstream rules, chances are that you will find here what you are looking for.

Since I have already created lists concerning the lesser enjoyable movie output from the west, I decided to do something similar concerning movies from Asia.

I do not mean to say that the pictures on this list are an absolute waste of time. Some of them make great B-pictures or are just ridiculously entertaining - at least if you like to think of yourself as someone with an ancquired taste. Others, well, others don't have any redeeming quality whatsoever and are simply bad.

On a side note, I am very much aware that movies from Asia (especially Eastern Asia) can often be quirky, strange or just downright different. I took that into account upon giving my verdict, but more than often I stumbled across a movie which, at least for me, just didn't cut it.

So, have fun browsing through what I, at least in some cases, consider to be the bad, boring, superfluous and/or way over the top kind of movies and don't hesitate to let me know if you agree or disagree with my choices.
