Really becoming a great admirer of Vijay Sethupathi's acting, and suddenly Maharaja came along, showcasing his range and script selection ability. I found him to be an actor with both a great on-screen and off-screen persona. It may sound cliché, but I must say, there are no typical unnecessary songs or cringe comedy here. His movies never fail to amaze, and Maharaja is the latest addition to that list. The film tells the story of him, his daughter, and their dustbin, 'Laxmi', a happy family facing deadly circumstances. The director truly delivered a gripping thriller, with a climax that gives you chills. A great movie, both for its cinematic experience and its social message.
This series really made me fall in love with KK Menon's unmatched acting! I've been hearing a lot about him, but I couldn't start watching his work until I saw this series. It could definitely serve as an example for other filmmakers on how to portray historical events on screen. A very well-made show, and I must say, it's a benchmark in this genre! Babil Khan was also fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to his future works as he carries on his father's legacy. Plus, 'Sadeep Bhaiya' was here as a journalist this time. A must-watch for seeing all the actors' amazing performances! I would rate it a solid 8.5 out of 10.
Should I write a review for this film? Should I give 4 out of 5 stars or just 1 and a half? Dulquer Salmaan is getting to places that I can only conceive. This guy is present in Kollywood, Mollywood, Bollywood, everywhere; successfully in both cases. In the movie, every actor did a good job with their part. Specially Sunny Deol and Shreya were excellent. Loved Saranya Ponvannan's role as well. It was also excellent the background music. Fantastic movie-going experience. Absolutely stunning. If you don't see it, please check it out. Yes, this is a must-watch for film lovers. Terribly beautiful.
